Mclaren 650s Open Diff

Is the diff dead? Is it all about smart traction control to control wheel spin now?

what are the pros and cons of both.

Same as the 12C and the P1. They use brake-steer to replicate a limited slip differential as it saves weight and cuts costs. They have been pretty successful at doing that with the P1 based on the first test drive reviews.
