McLaren Special Operations creates a 650S "design concept"

McLaren Special Operations had created a unique 650S Coupe that combines "optimized aerodynamic performance" with a "more dramatic appearance." The 650S Coupe "design concept" highlights many new aerodynamic bits and pieces that are also compatible with the 650S Spider, 12C Coupe and 12C Spider. Those parts include a redesigned rear diffuser and side blades manufactured from carbon fiber.

The 650S Coupe design concept is painted Agrigan Black, which combines a metallic black hue and a deep ruby red metallic flake. McLaren Special Operations says that the special paint changes color and contrasts the satin-finished carbon fiber body parts.

Other carbon fiber parts include the front splitter, air intakes, and a new GT3-like rear bumper.

Heading to the inside of the vehicle, there are fixed-back carbon fiber seats derived from those fitted inside the P1. These are 15 kg lighter and have been covered in carbon black leather.

I wonder how much more expensive this particular McLaren is compared to its non-special edition counterpart.

I guess for some people just a plain McLaren isn't exclusive enough. They want something that is literally one-of-a-kind.

No idea, it will partially depend on how special they want to make it, for all we know it could be $100k more than a regular one.

I like the carbon fiber touches but on the outside it doesn't really look like there is too much there to get excited about.
Also some of the pictures are obviously renders. I'm pretty sure that they didn't actually park this McLaren next to a hole in the ground that shows a magma flow.
