650S Skid Plates

With the steeper approach angle of the 650S skid plates became a necessity.

non discrepant, now it will take care of minor scrapes but it will not keep the CF front lip from cracking if impact is severe...

good thing they have this, scraping is likely to happen a lot, which makes me wonder, if the owner wants to eventually replace this, how much could it cost?

Is the skid plate also made of carbon fiber or is it something else?

I can't imagine that anything part that is for a McLaren will be cheap though.

Looks like it could be plastic or some sort of material like that. Maybe even polyurethane

have you ordered/will be ordering?

I've also just found a claim that skid plates available for the 12C are compatible with the 650S...

McLaren Sydney are ordering a batch for stock and I've asked for one to be fitted to my car when it arrives next month.

Some drilling is required - they bolt or screw on. The parts come with the kit.
