McLaren Worker crashes McLaren 650S

Very sad, hope the guy will survive this.

from the article:
A McLaren worker was involved in a horror crash last weekend while returning a 650S to the factory in Woking, UK. After losing control, the 207-mph supercar rolled into a nearby field leaving the driver impaled on a wooden fencepost. The Daily Mail reports the fencepost was sticking out of the driver’s chest when he was airlifted to hospital. After being treated for life-threatening injuries at the scene, the driver was airlifted to St George’s Hospital in London.

Was just coming to post this up, very serious indeed. Driver was impaled by a wooden fencepost which seems to of entered at the lower portion of windscreen on the drivers side. Absolutely grotesque, wishing the man best of luck, curious what happened...

Looks pretty bad, but I have seen other exotic cars that hold up less well, like Lamborghinis and Ferraris.

"Impaled by a wooden fencepost"? That doesn't sound like something you survive. Hope the guy gets better.

that's brutal, i hope the driver is alright.
on another note it is cool to see the underbody of the 650, so clean
