Exactly, it depends on who it's expensive to. If you can afford a Mclaren, you shouldn't even be thinking twice about the cost of this

Mr.Big It is kinda cool, but its a bit expensive for a license plate. At the point that you have the money to buy a McLaren though, I guess the extra couple hundred dollars is just not a big deal.

McLaren 650S Vanity Plate Up for Auction in the UK
Customized vanity plates are fun, and people in the UK have a particular affinity towards them. The McLaren 650S personalized plate that will be going up for auction is "MCL 650S". The plate has a reserve of $672, but it could go for a lot more.



“After hearing McLaren were planning to unveil its latest supercar the 650S, we inevitably conducted our own investigations to see if we had a suitable personalized registration available,” Jody Davies, DVLA Personalised Registrations’ Events Manager, said.

“Amazingly, MCL 650S – the MCL is a well used acronym for McLaren – was available so we arranged for it to be included in the first available auction,” Davies added.

The most expensive vanity plate being auctioned off is the "23 O" plate, which has a reserve price that is 10 times larger than the "MCL 650S" plate.
