Just think of all the other things you could use that money for. I'd rather buy 1 million dollar car and use the rest of that money to buy other stuff or travel, etc...

@Mr.Big why wouldn't you buy a car like this even if you had the money for it?

Mr.Big It's pretty cool how the driver sits in the middle and the passengers go on either side. I can't imagine ever spending money like that on a car, even if I had money like that to spare. I would definitely be down to take a ride in this car though. I'll give the owner some gas money.

Unique White McLaren F1 Could Sell for up to $14m


There are only 106 McLaren F1s that have been created. That means that over 20 years since its debut, this car is incredibly expensive!

Last year a McLaren F1 sold for $8.47 million at Pebble Beach, and another sold for $10.5 million a few months ago that was built for Michael Andretti.





This F1 is a different beast though. It's the one and only Marlboro White McLaren F1. There are other white F1s, but not quite this shade of white. It only has 1,000 miles on the odometer.

The estimate for its value is between $12 million and $14 million. If it sold for that much, it would be the most expensive McLaren ever sold.



Here is what Top Gear had to say about this car's back story:

Japanese collector Shin Okamoto bought the car new in 1995 and specced it so, driving it very sparingly during his 15-year tenure, because he also had a Ferrari F40, F50, 288 GTO, 333 SP and F50 GT in his stable. Because Ferrari. Okamoto sent his McLaren - chassis number 031 - to Woking in 2008 for a full service and inspection, before selling it onto a collector in the States in 2010, who in turn sold it onto the current owner, a McLaren 'enthusiast'.
