Exclusivity. Why does Mercedes sell the CLA for the cost of two 650S headlamps? So everyone can have one.

JAMS Your guess is as good as mine.. why do orange, yellow, or red seat belts cost $3442? The realities of 'supercar' pricing, I suppose.

That is true, but at the same time I haven't heard much about it so far.

rwdftw I would assume its LED DRLs with xenon projectors as main lights. But can't find any info.

Mr.Big I feel like we would have heard more if the 650S had laser headlights. I would think that the headlights are LED and not xenon. For the money you're paying they'd better be.

fastlane Might even be laser headlights. I know BMW is the first to officially say they have them but it's possible McLaren included them here.

What do we know about the headlights on the 650s

They look visually similar to the P1. LED DRLs and xenons are they?
